Article L4351-6 of the French Public Health Code

Notwithstanding the provisions of article L. 4351-2, the following may practise the profession of medical electroradiology manipulator and bear the title of medical electroradiology manipulator, with or without a qualification:

1° Persons recruited before 29 May 1996 by a public body or a public health establishment or a public social establishment, for a permanent position as a medical electroradiology technician ;

2° Persons performing the duties of medical electroradiology manipulator on 25 July 1984 or having performed these duties before this date for a period of at least six months and who have passed, before a date set by decree, knowledge verification tests.

Article L4351-6

Par dérogation aux dispositions de l’article L. 4351-2, peuvent exercer la profession de manipulateur d’électroradiologie médicale et porter le titre de manipulateur d’électroradiologie médicale accompagné ou non d’un qualificatif :

1° Les personnes recrutées avant le 29 mai 1996 par une collectivité publique ou un établissement public de santé ou un établissement public à caractère social, pour un emploi permanent de manipulateur d’électroradiologie médicale ;

2° Les personnes exerçant les fonctions de manipulateur d’électroradiologie médicale au 25 juillet 1984 ou ayant exercé ces fonctions avant cette date pendant une durée au moins égale à six mois et qui ont satisfait, avant une date fixée par décret, à des épreuves de vérification des connaissances.
