The diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications referred to in Article L. 4362-1 are the optician-mutician advanced technician’s certificate and the optician-mutician professional certificate, as well as any other evidence of formal qualifications designated by order of the ministers responsible for trade, the economy and finance, higher education and health.
Opticians may use their evidence of formal qualifications in the language of the State which issued them. He must indicate the place and establishment where it was obtained.
Where the evidence of formal qualifications of the Member State or Party of origin is liable to be confused with evidence of formal qualifications requiring additional training in France, the competent authority may decide that the optician-mutician shall refer to the evidence of formal qualifications of the Member State or Party of origin in an appropriate form which it shall specify.
The person concerned shall bear the professional title of optician.
