Where the province of Quebec grants the right to practise their profession on its territory to holders of evidence of formal qualifications allowing them to practise in France the professions referred to in this book and those referred to in articles L. 4241-1 and L. 4241-13, holders of evidence of formal qualifications obtained in the province of Quebec may be authorised to practise their profession in France by the Minister responsible for health if arrangements for the recognition of qualifications have been made to this effect, signed by the orders, where they exist, and the Minister responsible for health, and if their professional qualifications are recognised as comparable to those required in France to practise the profession.
Practice authorisations are issued individually, in accordance with the procedure and conditions laid down for the recognition of the professional qualifications of Community nationals, to practitioners who have demonstrated an adequate knowledge of the French language, the conditions for which are laid down by regulation. They are subject to the rules governing conditions of practice and professional rules applicable in France.
