The State lays down the conditions of access to training for the professionals mentioned in Titles I to VII of this book, nursing assistants, nursery auxiliaries, ambulance attendants and health managers. It determines the training programmes, the organisation of studies and the assessment procedures for students. It issues the diplomas.
The Director General of the Regional Health Agency monitors the programmes and the quality of the training.
The Director General of the Regional Health Agency also supervises training establishments approved underarticle 75 of law no. 2002-303 of 4 March 2002 relating to patients’ rights and the quality of the health system. These establishments are subject to inspection by the Inspectorate General of Social Affairs. Approvals may be withdrawn in the event of failure to comply with regulatory provisions governing the monitoring of programmes and the quality of training, and in the event of incapacity or serious misconduct on the part of the managers of these establishments.
