For its application in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, article L. 4112-5 reads as follows:
“Registration on the roll of the Association makes it lawful to practise the profession in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands.
If the professional residence is transferred outside the territory, the person concerned must, at the time of this transfer, apply for registration on the roll of the Association of the department or territorial collectivity of his new residence.
If the professional residence is transferred within the territory, the person concerned must, at the time of the transfer, apply to be entered on the roll of the Association of the territory.
Once this request has been made, the doctor, dental surgeon or midwife may provisionally practise in the department, the territorial authority of his new residence or in the territory until the council, body, delegation or institution fulfilling its duties has ruled on his request in an explicit decision. “
