Article L4422-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The President alone is responsible for policing the Assembly within its precincts. He may have any person who disturbs order expelled from the sittings room.

The dates and agenda of sittings are decided by the President after consultation with the members of the Standing Committee.

The President places an item on the agenda whenever one third of the councillors at the Assembly have requested it.

The minutes of the meetings are signed by the chairman.

Le président a seul la police de l’Assemblée dans l’enceinte de celle-ci. Il peut faire expulser de la salle des séances toute personne qui trouble l’ordre.

Les dates et l’ordre du jour des séances sont arrêtés par le président après consultation des membres de la commission permanente.

Le président procède à l’inscription d’une question à l’ordre du jour dès lors qu’un tiers des conseillers à l’assemblée l’a demandé.

Les procès-verbaux des séances sont signés par le président.
