TITLE II: THE TERRITORIAL COLLECTIVITY OF CORSICA

The Assembly of Corsica sits at the capital of the territorial collectivity of Corsica. However, by decision of its standing committee, it may meet in any other place in Corsica. It meets as of right on the first Thursday following its election.

Each year, the Assembly of Corsica holds two ordinary sessions of a maximum duration of three months, convened by its President. The first opens on 1st February. The second opens on 1st September. Meetings of the Assembly are public, unless the Assembly decides otherwise by an absolute majority of the members present or represented. The conditions for television and radio broadcasting of debates are determined by the internal regulations of the Assembly of Corsica.

The President of the Assembly of Corsica may decide that the meeting of the Assembly is to be held in several places by videoconference. When the meeting of the Assembly of Corsica is held by videoconference, the quorum is assessed on the basis of the presence of councillors in the various places by videoconference.
