The Assembly of Corsica may call into question the responsibility of the executive council by the vote of a motion of no confidence.
The motion of no confidence shall mention, on the one hand, the statement of the reasons for which it is presented and, on the other hand, the list of names of the candidates called to exercise the functions of president and executive councillors of Corsica in the event of the adoption of the motion of no confidence.
This motion shall only be deliberated upon when it is signed by one third of the councillors in the Assembly. The vote cannot take place until forty-eight hours after the motion has been tabled. Only votes in favour of the motion are counted, and the motion is only considered to have been adopted when it has received the vote of an absolute majority of the members making up the Assembly.
When the motion of no confidence is adopted, the candidates for the offices of president and executive councillors take office immediately.
Each councillor at the Corsican Assembly may not sign more than one motion of no confidence per calendar year.
