Article L4424-26 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial collectivity of Corsica defines its housing priorities within the framework of the development plan, in particular, in the light of proposals sent to it by the communes.

The Assembly of Corsica, on the proposal of the Executive Council, determines the distribution, between programmes for home ownership, the construction of new rental housing and the improvement of existing housing, of aid allocated by the State in the form of interest subsidies or grants.

The share of all aid referred to in the previous paragraph allocated, each year, to the territorial collectivity of Corsica may not be less than the average share of all State aid received for the same purpose by the region of Corsica during 1987, 1988 and 1989.

The Assembly of Corsica, on the proposal of the Executive Council, may, in addition, grant subsidies, loans, interest subsidies and loan guarantees.

La collectivité territoriale de Corse définit dans le cadre du plan de développement ses priorités en matière d’habitat, notamment, au vu des propositions qui lui sont adressées par les communes.

L’Assemblée de Corse, sur proposition du conseil exécutif, arrête la répartition, entre les programmes d’accession à la propriété, de construction de logements locatifs neufs et d’amélioration de l’habitat existant, des aides attribuées par l’Etat sous forme de bonifications d’intérêts ou de subventions.

La part de l’ensemble des aides visées à l’alinéa précédent attribuée, chaque année, à la collectivité territoriale de Corse ne peut être inférieure à la part moyenne de l’ensemble des aides de l’Etat reçues à ce même titre par la région de Corse au cours des années 1987, 1988 et 1989.

L’Assemblée de Corse, sur proposition du conseil exécutif, peut, en outre, accorder des subventions, des prêts, des bonifications d’intérêts et des garanties d’emprunt.
