Article L4424-17 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial collectivity of Corsica is substituted for the State in the latter’s rights and obligations concerning the operation of rail transport. It receives budgetary support from the State in an amount equivalent to the costs assumed by the State for the operation of rail transport pursuant to the contractual provisions in force on 13 May 1991, the date of promulgation of the loi n° 91-428 portant statut de la collectivité territoriale de Corse.

Article L4424-17

La collectivité territoriale de Corse est substituée à l’Etat dans les droits et obligations de celui-ci concernant l’exploitation des transports ferroviaires. Elle reçoit de l’Etat un concours budgétaire d’un montant équivalent aux charges assumées par l’Etat au titre de l’exploitation des transports ferroviaires en application des dispositions conventionnelles en vigueur au 13 mai 1991, date de promulgation de la loi n° 91-428 portant statut de la collectivité territoriale de Corse.
