Article L4422-40 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The representative of the State in the territorial collectivity of Corsica alone is authorised to speak on behalf of the State before the bodies of the territorial collectivity of Corsica.

By agreement of the President of the Assembly and the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity of Corsica, the latter shall be heard by the Assembly.

In addition, at the request of the Prime Minister, the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity of Corsica shall be heard by the Assembly.

Article L4422-40

Le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale de Corse est seul habilité à s’exprimer au nom de l’Etat devant les organes de la collectivité territoriale de Corse.

Par accord du président de l’Assemblée et du représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale de Corse, celui-ci est entendu par l’Assemblée.

En outre, sur demande du Premier ministre, le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale de Corse est entendu par l’Assemblée.
