Article L4424-34 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The territorial collectivity of Corsica ensures the implementation of continuing vocational training actions under the conditions laid down for the regions in articles L. 214-12 to L. 214-16 of the Education Code.

It draws up the regional plan contract for the development of vocational training and guidance with the State and the local authorities concerned.

This plan contract is signed by the President of the Executive Council of Corsica on behalf of the territorial collectivity after consultation with the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council of Corsica and adoption by the territorial collectivity, as well as by the State representative in the territorial collectivity of Corsica on behalf of the State and, with regard to initial training, by the academic authority.

On the occasion of the implementation of this plan contract, the territorial collectivity of Corsica signs an agreement, in particular with the establishment mentioned in article L. 5315-1 of the Labour Code, for which it will draw up the training programme and the programme of equipment operations for Corsica.

Article L4424-34

La collectivité territoriale de Corse assure la mise en oeuvre des actions de formation professionnelle continue dans les conditions prévues pour les régions aux articles L. 214-12 à L. 214-16 du code de l’éducation.

Elle élabore avec l’Etat et les collectivités territoriales concernées le contrat de plan régional de développement des formations et de l’orientation professionnelles.

Ce contrat de plan est signé par le président du conseil exécutif de Corse au nom de la collectivité territoriale après consultation du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse et adoption par la collectivité territoriale, ainsi que par le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale de Corse au nom de l’Etat et, en ce qui concerne la formation initiale, par l’autorité académique.

A l’occasion de la mise en oeuvre de ce contrat de plan, la collectivité territoriale de Corse signe une convention, notamment avec l’établissement mentionné à l’article L. 5315-1 du code du travail, dont elle arrête le programme des formations et le programme des opérations d’équipement pour la Corse.
