Article L4422-37 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

At the initiative of the President of the Executive Council, the President of the Assembly of Corsica or the Assembly of Corsica, the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council of Corsica may be asked for an opinion or study on any project falling within the remit of the collectivity of Corsica in economic and social matters, concerning the cultural future of Corsica or having consequences in terms of education, the environment or the living environment.

It may also, on its own initiative, issue opinions on any issue falling within the remit of the Corsican regional authority in economic, social, environmental or cultural matters.

Article L4422-37

A l’initiative du président du conseil exécutif, du président de l’Assemblée de Corse ou de l’Assemblée de Corse, le conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse peut être saisi de demandes d’avis ou d’étude sur tout projet entrant dans les compétences de la collectivité de Corse en matière économique et sociale, intéressant l’avenir culturel de la Corse ou emportant des conséquences en matière d’éducation, d’environnement ou de cadre de vie.

Il peut, en outre, à son initiative, émettre des avis sur toute question entrant dans les compétences de la collectivité de Corse en matière économique, sociale, environnementale ou culturelle.
