I. – A consultation body for regional cooperation policies in the Antilles-Guyane area is established.
This body is made up of representatives of the State, the General Council and Regional Council of Guadeloupe, the Assembly of French Guiana, and the Assembly and Executive Council of Martinique.
It meets at least once a year with a view to coordinating the policies pursued by the local authorities governed by Articles 73 and 74 of the Constitution, on the one hand, and the State, on the other. It will also be responsible for disseminating information about the actions carried out in the area.
II. – A consultative body for regional cooperation policies in the Indian Ocean region is hereby established.
This body shall be made up of representatives of the State, representatives of the General and Regional Councils of Reunion Island and representatives of the General Council of Mayotte.
It shall meet at least once a year with a view to coordinating the policies pursued by the local authorities governed by Articles 73 and 74 of the Constitution, on the one hand, and the State, on the other. It will also be responsible for disseminating information relating to actions carried out in the area.
III. – A decree in the Conseil d’Etat will set out the terms and conditions for the application of this article.
