The pharmacist members of the Disciplinary Board are elected for a term of six years and may be re-elected every three years in fractions of three members. Retiring members may be re-elected. A deputy is elected at the same time as each full member.
The Chairman is appointed for a renewable period of six years. If, during this period, the chairman is prevented from sitting or ceases to hold office, his replacement shall be appointed in accordance with the conditions laid down in Article L. 4443-1.
Subject to the application of the provisions of article L. 4443-4, only pharmacists of French nationality who practise pharmacy and have been registered with the Association for at least three years shall be eligible for election.
The State representative is responsible for organising elections to the disciplinary chambers of the Ordre des pharmaciens in New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
Elections may be referred to the administrative court by pharmacists entitled to vote and by the State representative.
