Article L4823-2 of the French Labour Code

In Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, La Réunion, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the employer shall ensure that each worker receives regular and appropriate information on the major natural hazards, mentioned in I of article L. 562-1 of the Environment Code, to which he is exposed in the workplace and on the measures taken to prevent them. The details of this information are determined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

En Guadeloupe, en Guyane, en Martinique, à Mayotte, à La Réunion, à Saint-Barthélemy, à Saint-Martin et à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, l’employeur veille à ce que chaque travailleur reçoive régulièrement une information appropriée sur les risques naturels majeurs, mentionnés au I de l’article L. 562-1 du code de l’environnement, auxquels il est exposé sur son lieu de travail ainsi que sur les mesures prises pour leur prévention. Les modalités de cette information sont déterminées par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
