In order to ensure compliance with the requirements set out in Articles L. 511-2 and L. 511-3 by staff engaged in the distribution of insurance or reinsurance, insurance or reinsurance undertakings shall approve, implement and regularly update their internal policies and appropriate internal procedures. They shall establish a function within the undertaking responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the approved policies and procedures and shall communicate to the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution, at its request, the name of the person responsible for that function.
These undertakings shall create, maintain and update registers containing all relevant documents concerning the application of the provisions of Articles L. 511-2 and L. 511-3.
