Authorised officers may apply to the liberties and detention judge for authorisation to detain, pending the necessary checks, goods suspected of not complying with the provisions of Book IV and the texts adopted for its application, when their continued presence on the market is likely to seriously and immediately undermine fair trading or consumer interests.

Les agents habilités peuvent demander au juge des libertés et de la détention l’autorisation de consigner, dans l’attente des contrôles nécessaires, les marchandises suspectées d’être non conformes aux dispositions du livre IV et aux textes pris pour son application, lorsque leur maintien sur le marché est de nature à porter une atteinte grave et immédiate à la loyauté des transactions ou à l’intérêt des consommateurs.
