Article L512-60 of the French Consumer Code

The authorised officers may, during the visit, take evidence from the occupier of the premises, their representative or any other person, with a view to obtaining any information or explanations that may be useful for the purposes of the investigation.

In accordance with Article 28 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 61-1 of the same code is applicable when a person in respect of whom there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that he has committed or attempted to commit an offence is heard.

Les agents habilités peuvent procéder au cours de la visite à des auditions de l’occupant des lieux, de son représentant ou de toute autre personne, en vue d’obtenir les informations ou explications utiles aux besoins de l’enquête.

Conformément à l’article 28 du code de procédure pénale, l’article 61-1 du même code est applicable lorsqu’il est procédé à l’audition d’une personne à l’égard de laquelle il existe des raisons plausibles de soupçonner qu’elle a commis ou tenté de commettre une infraction.
