Article L5125-3-1 of the French Public Health Code

The Director General of the Regional Health Agency defines the district of a municipality on the basis of its geographical unit and the presence of a resident population. The geographical unit is determined by natural or communal boundaries or by transport infrastructure.

The Director General of the Regional Health Agency shall mention in the order provided for in the fifth paragraph of Article L. 5125-18 the names of the roads, natural boundaries or transport infrastructures that delimit the district.

Le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé définit le quartier d’une commune en fonction de son unité géographique et de la présence d’une population résidente. L’unité géographique est déterminée par des limites naturelles ou communales ou par des infrastructures de transport.

Le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé mentionne dans l’arrêté prévu au cinquième alinéa de l’article L. 5125-18 le nom des voies, des limites naturelles ou des infrastructures de transports qui circonscrivent le quartier.
