Article L5127-6 of the French Public Health Code

The inspectors mentioned in article L. 5127-1 must be replaced by their colleagues for the inspection of pharmacies or establishments operated by owners of which they are related or connected up to and including the fourth degree. It is forbidden for them to have any direct or indirect interest in the pharmacies, laboratories and pharmaceutical establishments under their supervision, while they are in office and for a period of five years after they leave office.

Les inspecteurs mentionnés à l’article L. 5127-1 doivent se faire suppléer par leurs collègues pour le contrôle des pharmacies ou des établissements exploités par des titulaires dont ils sont parents ou alliés jusqu’au quatrième degré inclusivement. Il leur est interdit, tant qu’ils exercent leurs fonctions et dans un délai de cinq ans suivant la cessation de celles-ci, d’avoir des intérêts directs ou indirects dans les officines, laboratoires et établissements pharmaceutiques soumis à leur surveillance.
