Article L513-8 of the French Insurance Code

Insurance brokers or brokerage firms or their agents shall inform the association of which they are members of any change in the information concerning them and of any fact which may affect their membership of the association. They are required to inform the association as soon as possible if they fail to comply with the conditions or undertakings to which their membership was subject.

Les courtiers ou les sociétés de courtage d’assurance ou leurs mandataires informent l’association dont ils sont membres de toute modification des informations les concernant et de tout fait pouvant avoir des conséquences sur leur qualité de membre de l’association. Ils sont tenus d’informer dans les meilleurs délais l’association lorsqu’ils ne respectent pas les conditions ou les engagements auxquels était subordonnée leur adhésion.
