Article L5134-19-1 of the French Labour Code

The contrat unique d’insertion (single integration contract) is an employment contract concluded between an employer and an employee under the conditions set out in sub-section 3 of sections 2 and 5 of this chapter, in respect of which aid for professional integration is granted under the conditions set out in sub-section 2 of the same sections 2 and 5. The decision to grant this assistance is taken by :

1° Either, on behalf of the State, the institution mentioned in article L. 5312-1, the bodies mentioned in article L. 5314-1 or, in accordance with the procedures laid down by decree, one of the bodies mentioned in 1° bis of article L. 5311-4 ;

2° Or the President of the Departmental Council when this assistance concerns a beneficiary of the active solidarity income financed by the Department;

3° Or, on behalf of the State, the academic authority for the contracts mentioned in I of article L. 5134-125.

The amount of this aid is based on a rate, set by the administrative authority, applied to the minimum growth wage.

Article L5134-19-1

Le contrat unique d’insertion est un contrat de travail conclu entre un employeur et un salarié dans les conditions prévues à la sous-section 3 des sections 2 et 5 du présent chapitre, au titre duquel est attribuée une aide à l’insertion professionnelle dans les conditions prévues à la sous-section 2 des mêmes sections 2 et 5. La décision d’attribution de cette aide est prise par :

1° Soit, pour le compte de l’Etat, l’institution mentionnée à l’article L. 5312-1, les organismes mentionnés à l’article L. 5314-1 ou, selon des modalités fixées par décret, un des organismes mentionnés au 1° bis de l’article L. 5311-4 ;

2° Soit le président du conseil départemental lorsque cette aide concerne un bénéficiaire du revenu de solidarité active financé par le département ;

3° Soit, pour le compte de l’Etat, l’autorité académique pour les contrats mentionnés au I de l’article L. 5134-125.

Le montant de cette aide résulte d’un taux, fixé par l’autorité administrative, appliqué au salaire minimum de croissance.
