Article L5134-25 of the French Labour Code

The duration of the employment support contract may not be less than six months, or three months in the case of persons who have been convicted of a criminal offence and whose sentence has been adjusted.

The provisions relating to the maximum number of renewals, set out in articles L. 1243-13 and L. 1243-13-1, do not apply.

La durée du contrat d’accompagnement dans l’emploi ne peut être inférieure à six mois, ou trois mois pour les personnes ayant fait l’objet d’une condamnation et bénéficiant d’un aménagement de peine.

Les dispositions relatives au nombre maximum des renouvellements, prévues aux articles L. 1243-13 et L. 1243-13-1, ne sont pas applicables.
