Article L514-4 of the French Insurance Code

I.-When the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution becomes aware of information that could hinder the proper performance of the duties of the body responsible for maintaining the register referred to in I of Article L. 512-1, or when it becomes aware of an offence committed by an intermediary that could lead to removal from the register, it shall inform the body responsible for maintaining the register.

When the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution becomes aware of information that may fall within the scope of Article L. 512-2, it shall inform the organisation responsible for maintaining the register without delay.

II – The body responsible for keeping the register referred to in I of Article L. 512-1 shall provide any information requested by the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution acting within the scope of its duties.

III – The body referred to in I of Article L. 512-1 shall also, on its own initiative, communicate any useful information to the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution.

Article L514-4

I.-Lorsque l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution a connaissance d’une information pouvant entraver le bon exercice de la mission de l’organisme chargé de la tenue du registre mentionné au I de l’article L. 512-1, ou lorsqu’elle a connaissance d’une infraction commise par un intermédiaire susceptible d’entraîner la radiation de ce registre, elle en informe l’organisme chargé de la tenue de ce registre.

Lorsque l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution a connaissance d’une information susceptible de relever de l’article L. 512-2, elle en informe, sans tarder, l’organisme chargé de la tenue de ce registre.

II.-L’organisme chargé de la tenue du registre mentionné au I de l’article L. 512-1 communique toute information qui lui est demandée par l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution agissant dans le cadre de ses missions.

III.-L’organisme mentionné au I de l’article L. 512-1 communique également, à son initiative, toute information utile à l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution.
