In any company employing at least two hundred and fifty employees, a referent is appointed to guide, inform and support people with disabilities.
For the purposes of this article, the number of employees and the fact that the threshold of two hundred and fifty employees has been crossed are determined in accordance with the procedures set out inarticle L. 130-1 of the Social Security Code.
At the request of the worker concerned, the adviser takes part in the liaison meeting provided for inarticle L. 1226-1-3 of this code and in the exchanges organised on the basis of the last paragraph of I of article L. 4624-2-2. In both cases, he/she is bound by an obligation of discretion with regard to any personal information that comes to his/her knowledge.
