Article L522-6 of the French Commercial code

Companies operating general shops, with the exception of those issuing storage receipts, are deemed to fall within the scope of article L. 522-5 if one of their members, owning more than 10% of the share capital, engages in an activity incompatible with the provisions of the said article.

Article L522-6

Sont réputées tomber sous le coup de l’article L. 522-5 les sociétés exploitantes de magasins généraux, à l’exception de celles délivrant des reçus d’entreposage, dont l’un des associés, possédant plus de 10 % du capital social, exerce une activité incompatible avec les dispositions dudit article.
