In the absence of an appeal against the decision of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons within the time limit laid down in Article L. 532-1, the right to remain on French territory ends on notification of this decision.
Where an appeal against the Office’s decision to reject the application has been lodged within the time limit laid down in Article L. 532-1, the applicant’s right to remain on French territory ends on the date on which the decision of the Cour nationale du droit d’asile is read out in open court or, if it is decided by order, on the date on which it is notified.
