Article L542-6 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When the right to remain in the country has ended in application of b, c or d of 1° of article L. 542-2, the foreign national may request suspension of enforcement of the removal decision.
This request is made under the conditions and in accordance with the procedures laid down in articles L. 752-5 to L. 752-12 when the right to remain in the country has ended in application of b or d of 1° of article L. 542-2.
It is submitted under the conditions and according to the procedures provided for in articles L. 753-7 to L. 753-11 when the right to remain in the country has ended in application of c of 1° of article L. 542-2.

Article L542-6

Lorsque le droit de se maintenir sur le territoire a pris fin en application des b, c ou d du 1° de l’article L. 542-2, l’étranger peut demander la suspension de l’exécution de la décision d’éloignement.
Cette demande est présentée dans les conditions et selon les modalités prévues aux articles L. 752-5 à L. 752-12 lorsque le droit de se maintenir sur le territoire a pris fin en application des b ou d du 1° de l’article L. 542-2.
Elle est présentée dans les conditions et selon les modalités prévues aux articles L. 753-7 à L. 753-11 lorsque le droit de se maintenir sur le territoire a pris fin en application du c du 1° de l’article L. 542-2.
