Article L5423-1 of the French Labour Code

Unemployed workers who have exhausted their entitlement to insurance benefit, who do not qualify for the self-employed workers’ benefit provided for in article L. 5424-25 and who satisfy the conditions of previous activity and resources are entitled to a specific solidarity allowance.

Ont droit à une allocation de solidarité spécifique les travailleurs privés d’emploi qui ont épuisé leurs droits à l’allocation d’assurance, qui ne satisfont pas aux conditions pour bénéficier de l’allocation des travailleurs indépendants prévue à l’article L. 5424-25 et qui satisfont à des conditions d’activité antérieure et de ressources.
