Article L5423-2 of the French Labour Code

Beneficiaries of the insurance allowance who are at least fifty years old and who meet the conditions set out in article L. 5423-1 and who opt to receive this allowance are also entitled to the specific solidarity allowance.

In this case, payment of the insurance allowance is suspended.

Article L5423-2

Ont également droit à l’allocation de solidarité spécifique les bénéficiaires de l’allocation d’assurance âgés de cinquante ans au moins qui satisfont aux conditions mentionnées à l’article L. 5423-1 et qui optent pour la perception de cette allocation.

Dans ce cas, le versement de l’allocation d’assurance est interrompu.
