Article L5424-10 of the French Public Health Code

The fact that a pharmacist enters into an agreement with a doctor, dental surgeon or midwife guaranteeing them a profit of any kind on the sale of pharmaceutical, medicinal or cosmetic products that they may prescribe is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €75,000.

Le fait, pour un pharmacien de passer une convention avec un médecin, un chirurgien-dentiste ou une sage-femme leur assurant un bénéfice d’une nature quelconque sur la vente des produits pharmaceutiques, médicamenteux, cosmétiques que ceux-ci peuvent prescrire est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 75 000 € d’amende.
