Article L5424-10 of the French Public Health Code

The fact that a pharmacist enters into an agreement with a doctor, dental surgeon or midwife guaranteeing them a profit of any kind on the sale of pharmaceutical, medicinal or cosmetic products that they may prescribe is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €75,000.

Article L5424-19 of the French Public Health Code

When a prosecution is brought by the judicial authority in application of the articles mentioned in this chapter, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency may order the temporary closure of the pharmacy. Natural persons guilty of an offence under this chapter are liable to the additional penalty of temporary or permanent closure of the pharmacy.
