Article L5425-1 of the French Labour Code

The allowances provided for in this Title, with the exception of those provided for in Section 2 of Chapter IV, for employees in the building and public works sectors deprived of employment as a result of bad weather, may be combined with income from occasional or reduced activity and with social security or social assistance benefits under the conditions and within the limits set :

1° For insurance allowances and allowances for self-employed workers, by the agreement provided for in article L. 5422-20;

2° For solidarity allowances, by decree of the Conseil d’Etat.

These provisions apply in particular to income from seasonal work.

Article L5425-1

Les allocations du présent titre, à l’exception de celles prévues à la section 2 du chapitre IV, pour les salariés du bâtiment et des travaux publics privés d’emploi par suite d’intempéries, peuvent se cumuler avec les revenus tirés d’une activité occasionnelle ou réduite ainsi qu’avec les prestations de sécurité sociale ou d’aide sociale dans les conditions et limites fixées :

1° Pour l’allocation d’assurance et l’allocation des travailleurs indépendants, par l’accord prévu à l’article L. 5422-20 ;

2° Pour les allocations de solidarité, par décret en Conseil d’Etat.

Ces dispositions s’appliquent notamment au cas des revenus tirés de travaux saisonniers.
