Article L5842-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.-Articles L. 5211-5, with the exception of the last sentence of I and the second paragraph of III, and L. 5211-5-1 are applicable in French Polynesia subject to the adaptations provided for in II.

II.-For the application of Article L. 5211-5:

1° In I, the words: “when the communes are part of the same department or by joint order of the representatives of the State in the departments concerned in the opposite case” are deleted;

2° Repealed.

Article L5842-3

I.-Les articles L. 5211-5, à l’exception de la dernière phrase du I et du deuxième alinéa du III, et L. 5211-5-1 sont applicables en Polynésie française sous réserve des adaptations prévues au II.

II.-Pour l’application de l’article L. 5211-5 :

1° Au I, les mots : ” lorsque les communes font partie du même département ou par arrêté conjoint des représentants de l’Etat dans les départements concernés dans le cas contraire ” sont supprimés ;

2° Abrogé.
