Article L6125-1 of the French Public Health Code

Opening or managing a private healthcare establishment or installing heavy equipment as defined in article L. 6122-14 in a private establishment providing medical care in breach of the provisions of articles L. 6122-1 and L. 6122-7 is punishable by a fine of 150,000 euros.

The same penalty shall apply to failure to comply with the suspension or withdrawal of authorisation provided for in article L. 6122-13.

In the event of a repeat offence, the penalty may be accompanied by confiscation of the equipment installed without authorisation.

Article L6125-1

Le fait d’ouvrir ou de gérer un établissement de santé privé ou d’installer dans un établissement privé concourant aux soins médicaux des équipements matériels lourds définis à l’article L. 6122-14 en infraction aux dispositions des articles L. 6122-1 et L. 6122-7 est puni de 150000 euros d’amende.

Est puni de la même peine le fait de passer outre à la suspension ou au retrait d’autorisation prévus à l’article L. 6122-13.

En cas de récidive, la peine peut être assortie de la confiscation des équipements installés sans autorisation.
