Article L613-21-6 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution may, when acting as the authority responsible for the supervision of a subsidiary of an undertaking which has its head office in another Member State of the European Union or in another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, delegate its responsibility for the supervision of the subsidiary in question to the competent authorities within the meaning of Article 4(1)(40) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013 which have authorised or supervise the parent undertaking.

L’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution peut, lorsqu’elle agit en tant qu’autorité en charge de la supervision d’une filiale d’une entreprise ayant son siège dans un autre Etat membre de l’Union européenne ou dans un autre Etat partie à l’accord sur l’Espace économique européen, déléguer sa responsabilité de surveillance de la filiale en cause aux autorités compétentes au sens du 40 du paragraphe 1 de l’article 4 du règlement (UE) n° 575/2013 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 26 juin 2013 qui ont agréé ou qui surveillent l’entreprise mère.
