As stated in article L. 633-1 of the Education Code, hereafter reproduced:
“Theoretical and practical pharmaceutical studies are organised by pharmaceutical science training and research units or, where appropriate, by medical and pharmaceutical training and research units. They must enable students to participate effectively in hospital activities.
The agreements referred to in article L. 6142-3 of the Public Health Code, cited in article L. 713-5 of this Code, set out the terms and conditions under which pharmacy students may undertake placements in the university hospital centre’s internal-use pharmacies and biology laboratories.
The director of the pharmaceutical sciences training and research unit and, in the case of mixed medical and pharmaceutical training and research units, either the director or, where the director is not a pharmacist, the teacher in charge of the pharmacy section, are authorised to propose the conditions under which teaching is organised by the medical and pharmaceutical sciences training and research units.
The conditions of application of this article are determined by decree. “
