Article L621-13-8 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Chairman or Secretary General of the Autorité des marchés financiers may order the suspension or dismissal of a person referred to in Article L. 421-7, if that person no longer fulfils the conditions laid down in that Article for the exercise of the functions he holds, or to put an end to breaches by that person of the regulations applicable under conditions likely to undermine the proper operation of a market undertaking.

The Chairman of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or the representative he appoints may order the suspension or dismissal of a person referred to in I of Article L. 533-26 in order to put an end to breaches by that person of the applicable regulations under conditions likely to harm the interests of clients or the proper operation of an investment firm.

A decree shall specify the conditions of application of this article.

Article L621-13-8

Le président ou le secrétaire général de l’Autorité des marchés financiers peut enjoindre la suspension ou la révocation d’une personne mentionnée à l’article L. 421-7, si cette personne ne remplit plus les conditions fixées à cet article pour l’exercice des fonctions qu’elle occupe, ou pour mettre fin à des violations par cette personne de la réglementation applicable dans des conditions de nature à porter atteinte au bon fonctionnement d’une entreprise de marché.

Le président de l’Autorité des marchés financiers ou le représentant qu’il désigne, peut enjoindre la suspension ou la révocation d’une personne mentionnée au I de l’article L. 533-26 pour mettre fin à des violations par cette personne de la réglementation applicable dans des conditions de nature à porter atteinte aux intérêts des clients ou au bon fonctionnement d’une entreprise d’investissement.

Un décret précise les conditions d’application du présent article.
