Article L621-5 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

A decree in the Conseil d’Etat shall set the conditions and limits under which :

1° The Board may delegate authority to the Chairman or, if the Chairman is absent or unable to act, to another of its members, to take individual decisions falling within its remit;

2° The Board may delegate powers to a specialised commission in accordance with III of Article L. 621-2;

3° The Chairman of the Autorité des marchés financiers may delegate his signature in matters where he has specific powers under the law or regulations.

Article L621-5

Un décret en Conseil d’Etat fixe les conditions et limites dans lesquelles :

1° Le collège peut donner délégation au président ou, en cas d’absence ou d’empêchement de celui-ci, à un autre de ses membres, pour prendre les décisions à caractère individuel relevant de sa compétence ;

2° Le collège peut donner délégation à une commission spécialisée conformément au III de l’article L. 621-2 ;

3° Le président de l’Autorité des marchés financiers peut déléguer sa signature dans les matières où il tient de dispositions législatives ou réglementaires une compétence propre.
