Article L6241-4 of the French Public Health Code

The penalties imposed pursuant to this section may be accompanied by an obligation to display the notice in the public reception areas of the medical biology laboratory or the structure carrying out pathological anatomy and cytology examinations and an obligation to publish the notice in the newspapers or media designated by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, unless such publication causes disproportionate harm to the parties involved. The costs shall be borne by the persons penalised.

Les sanctions prononcées en vertu de la présente section peuvent être assorties d’une obligation d’affichage au sein des locaux d’accueil du public du laboratoire de biologie médicale, de la structure réalisant des examens d’anatomie et de cytologie pathologiques et d’une obligation de publication dans les journaux ou supports désignés par le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé à moins que cette publication ne cause un préjudice disproportionné aux parties en cause. Les frais en sont supportés par les personnes sanctionnées.
