The purpose of the training courses referred to in 1° of Article L. 6313-1 is to:
1° To enable any person without a vocational qualification or employment contract to access a job under the best possible conditions ;
2° To encourage workers to adapt to their jobs, to changes in jobs and to remain in employment, and to participate in the development of their skills, whether or not related to their job. They may enable workers to acquire a higher qualification;
3° To reduce, for employees whose jobs are threatened, the risks resulting from a qualification that is unsuited to changes in techniques and company structures, by preparing them for a change of activity either within or outside their company. They may enable employees whose employment contract has been terminated to take up jobs requiring a different qualification, or enable self-employed persons to take up new professional activities;
4° To encourage professional mobility.
