The Agency’s Board of Directors is chaired by the Senior Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, representing the State.
In addition to its Chairman, the Agency’s Board of Directors comprises seven categories of members:
1° Members of Parliament elected in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands ;
2° Representatives of the Territorial Assembly, including, by right, the President of this Assembly;
3° Representatives of traditional chiefs;
4° Representatives of medical, odontological and pharmaceutical staff, including, by right, the chairman of the medical commission;
5° Representatives of staff other than those mentioned in 4° ;
6° A qualified personality;
7° A user representative.
The categories mentioned in 4° and 5° have an equal number of members; they may not together hold a greater number of seats than the categories mentioned in 1° to 3°.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors appoints, from among the members of the categories referred to in 1°, 2° and 6°, the member of the Board who will deputise for him if he is unable to attend.
