Article L711-2 of the French Commercial code

The territorial and departmental chambers of commerce and industry of Ile-de-France represent the interests of industry, commerce and services in their constituency to the public authorities and local players.

Under the conditions set out in the town planning code, they are involved in drawing up territorial coherence schemes and local town planning schemes.

For the implementation of commercial developments, the territorial chambers of commerce and industry may be delegated the right of pre-emption by the competent communes or inter-communal cooperation establishments.

Les chambres de commerce et d’industrie territoriales et départementales d’Ile-de-France représentent auprès des pouvoirs publics et des acteurs locaux les intérêts de l’industrie, du commerce et des services de leur circonscription.


Dans les conditions prévues par le code de l’urbanisme, elles sont associées à l’élaboration des schémas de cohérence territoriale et des plans locaux d’urbanisme.


Pour la réalisation d’aménagements commerciaux, les chambres de commerce et d’industrie territoriales peuvent se voir déléguer le droit de préemption par les communes ou les établissements de coopération intercommunale compétents.
