Article L7125-22 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may receive a travel allowance and reimbursement of the subsistence expenses they have incurred to take part in meetings of the Assembly of French Guiana, committees and bodies of which they are an ex officio member.

Disabled councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may also benefit from the reimbursement of specific travel, support and technical assistance expenses that they have incurred and that are linked to the exercise of their mandate.

Councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may benefit from reimbursement by the local authority, upon presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Assembly of French Guiana, of the costs of childcare or assistance for the elderly, disabled or those requiring personal assistance at home that they have incurred due to their participation in the meetings mentioned in Article L. 7125-1. This reimbursement may not exceed, per hour, the hourly amount of the minimum growth wage.

They are also entitled to the reimbursement of additional travel and subsistence expenses that may result from the exercise of special mandates entrusted to them by the Assembly of French Guyana.

The other expenses related to the exercise of a special mandate may be reimbursed to them by the local authority upon presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Assembly of French Guiana.

The detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.

Les conseillers à l’assemblée de Guyane peuvent recevoir une indemnité de déplacement et le remboursement des frais de séjour qu’ils ont engagés pour prendre part aux réunions de l’assemblée de Guyane, des commissions et des instances dont ils font partie ès qualités.

Les conseillers à l’assemblée de Guyane handicapés peuvent également bénéficier du remboursement des frais spécifiques de déplacement, d’accompagnement et d’aide technique qu’ils ont engagés et qui sont liés à l’exercice de leur mandat.

Les conseillers à l’assemblée de Guyane peuvent bénéficier d’un remboursement par la collectivité, sur présentation d’un état de frais et après délibération de l’assemblée de Guyane, des frais de garde d’enfants ou d’assistance aux personnes âgées, aux personnes handicapées ou à celles qui ont besoin d’une aide personnelle à leur domicile qu’ils ont engagés en raison de leur participation aux réunions mentionnées à l’article L. 7125-1. Ce remboursement ne peut excéder, par heure, le montant horaire du salaire minimum de croissance.

Ils ont en outre droit au remboursement des frais supplémentaires de transport et de séjour pouvant résulter de l’exercice des mandats spéciaux dont ils sont chargés par l’assemblée de Guyane.

Les autres dépenses liées à l’exercice d’un mandat spécial peuvent leur être remboursées par la collectivité sur présentation d’un état de frais et après délibération de l’assemblée de Guyane.

Les modalités d’application du présent article sont fixées par décret.
