Councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may receive a travel allowance and reimbursement of the subsistence expenses they have incurred to take part in meetings of the Assembly of French Guiana, committees and bodies of which they are an ex officio member.
Disabled councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may also benefit from the reimbursement of specific travel, support and technical assistance expenses that they have incurred and that are linked to the exercise of their mandate.
Councillors to the Assembly of French Guiana may benefit from reimbursement by the local authority, upon presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Assembly of French Guiana, of the costs of childcare or assistance for the elderly, disabled or those requiring personal assistance at home that they have incurred due to their participation in the meetings mentioned in Article L. 7125-1. This reimbursement may not exceed, per hour, the hourly amount of the minimum growth wage.
They are also entitled to the reimbursement of additional travel and subsistence expenses that may result from the exercise of special mandates entrusted to them by the Assembly of French Guyana.
The other expenses related to the exercise of a special mandate may be reimbursed to them by the local authority upon presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Assembly of French Guiana.
The detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.
