Article L7125-24 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Where the personal residence of the president of the assembly of French Guyana is located outside the conurbation that includes the commune that is the capital of the collectivity and the estate of the territorial collectivity of French Guyana includes official accommodation, the assembly of French Guyana may determine by deliberation the terms under which this accommodation is allocated to him or her.

Where the domain of the territorial collectivity does not include such accommodation, the assembly of French Guiana may, by deliberation, decide to award the president a subsistence allowance, within the limit of the daily allowances allocated for this purpose to State civil servants, in respect of the expenses he has incurred in order to be present at the chief town of the collectivity to carry out his duties.

Lorsque la résidence personnelle du président de l’assemblée de Guyane se situe en dehors de l’agglomération comprenant la commune chef-lieu de la collectivité et que le domaine de la collectivité territoriale de Guyane comprend un logement de fonction, l’assemblée de Guyane peut fixer par délibération les modalités selon lesquelles ce logement lui est affecté.

Lorsque le domaine de la collectivité territoriale ne comporte pas un tel logement, l’assemblée de Guyane peut, par délibération, décider d’attribuer au président une indemnité de séjour, dans la limite des indemnités journalières allouées à cet effet aux fonctionnaires de l’Etat, en raison des frais qu’il a engagés pour être présent au chef-lieu de la collectivité pour assurer l’exercice de ses fonctions.
