Article L7125-27 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

When the President of the Assembly of French Guyana or any Vice-President who has been delegated by the latter has ceased to carry out any professional activity for the exercise of his/her mandate and is no longer compulsorily covered by a social security scheme, he/she shall be affiliated to the general social security scheme for benefits in kind and in cash for sickness, maternity, invalidity and death insurance.

The contributions of the local authority and those of the elected official are calculated on the amount of allowances actually received by the latter pursuant to this code.

A decree shall lay down the conditions for the application of this article.

Article L7125-27

Lorsque le président de l’assemblée de Guyane ou tout vice-président ayant reçu délégation de celui-ci a cessé d’exercer toute activité professionnelle pour l’exercice de son mandat et ne relève plus, à titre obligatoire, d’un régime de sécurité sociale, il est affilié au régime général de la sécurité sociale pour les prestations en nature et en espèces des assurances maladie, maternité, invalidité et décès.

Les cotisations de la collectivité et celles de l’élu sont calculées sur le montant des indemnités effectivement perçues par ce dernier en application du présent code.

Un décret fixe les conditions d’application du présent article.
