Members of the regional and territorial chambers of commerce and industry are elected by a one-ballot, multi-mandate majority system. If several candidates obtain the same number of votes, the oldest is proclaimed elected.
Members of the regional, Ile-de-France departmental and territorial chambers of commerce and industry are elected on the same day, under conditions set by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
Candidates for election as members of a regional chamber of commerce and industry and their alternates shall be of different sexes.
Elected members of the regional chamber of commerce and industry and their alternates shall also be members of the territorial chamber for the constituency in which they have been appointed. The loss or renunciation of membership of one of these two establishments simultaneously entails the deprivation of membership of the other establishment.
