Article L7154-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The commission for monitoring the use of European structural funds in French Guiana is co-chaired by the State representative and the president of the assembly of French Guiana.

It is also made up of the parliamentarians elected in the territorial collectivity of French Guiana, a representative of the economic, social, environmental, cultural and education council of French Guiana, a representative of the association representing the mayors, representatives of the consular chambers and representatives of the technical services of the State.

It draws up a six-monthly report on the consumption of the appropriations allocated.

La commission de suivi de l’utilisation des fonds structurels européens en Guyane est coprésidée par le représentant de l’Etat et le président de l’assemblée de Guyane.

Elle est en outre composée des parlementaires élus dans la collectivité territoriale de Guyane, d’un représentant du conseil économique, social, environnemental, de la culture et de l’éducation de Guyane, d’un représentant de l’association représentant les maires, de représentants des chambres consulaires et de représentants des services techniques de l’Etat.

Elle établit un rapport semestriel sur la consommation des crédits alloués.
