Article L722-15 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Where the applicant uses information communicated to him by the customs administration, notwithstanding Article 59 bis of the Customs Code, for purposes other than those provided for in this chapter, the Customs Administration shall repeal, suspend or refuse to renew the said application.

Lorsque le demandeur utilise les informations qui lui sont communiquées par l’administration des douanes, par dérogation à l’article 59 bis du code des douanes, à d’autres fins que celles prévues par le présent chapitre, l’administration des douanes abroge, suspend ou refuse de renouveler ladite demande.
